Family fun at Whispering Pines

Autumn has arrived at Whispering Pines Nursery and Garden Center, and the grounds are bursting with seasonal color, family fun, and exciting events. On Saturday, November 8 from 4–6 p.m., Whispering Pines will host its first-ever Bonsai Class, a rare opportunity for plant lovers of all skill levels. Participants will learn bonsai care, re-potting, pruning, wiring, and styling techniques in a hands-on, supportive environment—whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your craft, the expert instructors will guide you every step of the way.

While you’re at Whispering Pines, be sure to explore the gift shop filled with unique finds, stroll through the impressive greenhouse, and stop by the koi pond, where kids can feed the fish. The nursery is also overflowing with pumpkins, mums, and festive fall décor—perfect for brightening your porch or planning your autumn displays.
