Timothy Patrick Dobbins a beloved husband, brother uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly at home on July 11, 2026. Born on August 25, 1962 in Bronx, New York. Timothy lived a life filled with love, humor and kindness.

Timothy was the cherished son of the late Albert and Betty (Schroeder) Dobbins. He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years Karen (McDonough) Dobbins with whom he built a life of love and joy. Their friendship began as teenagers working side-by-side as bus people at the Middlebranch restaurant in Brewster New York. Years later the friendship blossomed into a profound love story that began with their marriage on July 3, 1994. Karen was the true love of Timothy’s life just as he was hers. Timothy also leaves behind his beloved and precious cocker spaniel Bella.

Timothy's family includes his older brother Michael Dobbins, his wife Maureen and their son Kyle, of Reading CT and his younger brother Kevin, his wife Sue and their sons Cody and Ryan of Brewster NY. In addition, he had many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Betty, who surely welcomed him with opened arms.

A graduate of Brewster high school class of 1980, Timothy continued his education, earning a bachelor's degree in engineering at SUNY at Utica. Timothy was working at Lowe’s for the last 14 years where Timmy was affectionately known as Uncle Tim by his coworkers and considered the glue that held the place together.

Timothy was a man of many talents and interest. He found joy in cooking and gardening, growing a beautiful vegetable garden each year. Timothy was known to be a master of fixing and building anything. He also had a love for NASCAR. Always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, Timothy was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help other others embodying a spirit of generosity and warmth that touched everyone he met.

In lieu of flowers, you may honor Timothy ‘s memory by making a donation to a charity of one’s choice, reflecting his lifelong passion of helping others.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beecher Funeral Home of 1 Putnam Avenue Brewster NY 10509. Calling hours will take place on Saturday July 18, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A funeral mass will follow be at noon at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, 31 Prospect Street Brewster NY 10509.
