SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. - State Sen. Peter Harckham and his partner Jin-Hee Stevens have ushered in 2026 by getting married.
On Dec. 30, the four-term Democratic lawmaker announced the happy news on social media -- along with a “selfie” of him and his new spouse at the Yorktown Town Hall, where Town Clerk Diana Quast officiated over the ceremony.
“Thrilled to report Jin-Hee and I just got married,” the post said.
A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, Harckham was raised in Rockland County.
He moved to Katonah in 1991 and later to South Salem, where the couple currently live.
Harckham has two adult daughters, Emma and Kate.
The senator’s 40th district covers parts of Putnam County and northern Westchester, including Carmel and Southeast in the former and Yorktown, Somers, North Salem, Bedford, and Lewisboro in the latter.
