Pete Davidson lists North Salem home for $2.27 million

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Pete Davidson fans need to brace themselves, as local sightings of the “Saturday Night Live” alum may be scarce from now on.

The young actor, comedian, writer, and brand-new dad recently put his North Salem home on the market for $2.28 million.

He had purchased the six-acre property off Hardscrabble Road in 2023 for a reported $1.95 million.

Davidson apparently loves his coffee.

He’s been spotted having a brew or a bite at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard, just down the road from his country digs, and at Bobo’s Café and at Dunkin’ in nearby Somers.

According to media reports, he appreciates the privacy offered by the pastoral community, where horses are rumored to outnumber human residents.

Davidson had even joined a recreational men’s basketball team that had been started by a friend.

The 32-year-old grew up on Staten Island -- where he still owns a condo that he’s trying to unload -- and is currently renting a brownstone in Brooklyn.

It was the city noise that originally drove Davidson to hunt for a quieter place.

North Salem was the perfect spot, he told one media outlet, likening his spacious pondside abode to “paradise.”

He shot his Netflix podcast, “The Pete Davidson Show,” from its garage. It was also the setting for a couple of commercials.

And speaking of local connections, one Somers clothing designer, Jordan Baker of Brown Dyed Girl, enjoyed some national attention after Davidson had worn one of her tie-dyed creations in a Hellman’s “Mayo Tackles Food Waste” Super Bowl commercial in 2022.

(The hilarious ad features Davidson being tackled by former NFL linebacker Jerod Mayo.)

So why move on after only three years?

Davidson and his partner, actress and model Elsie Hewitt, welcomed their first child, Scottie Rose, last December.

(The little bundle of joy is named in honor of Davidson’s late father, Scott, a New York City firefighter who died in the 9/11 terror attacks.)

According to media reports, he’s hunting for another retreat, but this time closer to his extended family on Staten Island and in New Jersey.

Davidson’s not the only celeb to have called North Salem home.

Among the high-profile folks its attracted are David Letterman of late-night TV talk show fame, actor Richard Gere, equestrian Georgina Bloomberg, actor/writer Stanley Tucci, and the late figure skater Dick Button.

What $2.27 Million Gets You

According to the posting on Ginnel Real Estate’s website, the 1930s renovated estate known as “Tamoset,” is “a truly magical setting overlooking a scenic pond.”

It features rolling lawns, old stone walls, sun-filled rooms, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen.

Privacy is a plus, too. It’s located at the end of a long, gated drive.

The 2,300-square-foot manse also has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a sauna, screened in porches, wine cellar, lap pool, gym, and gaming/media room.

“Fabulous location just moments from the apple orchards. Truly remarkable!” the ad crows.
