NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Earlier this month, Karen Roach became the new president of the North Salem Lions Club (NSLC). During the occasion, Roach congratulated and recognized Susan Lucas for her impactful leadership as president over the past two years.
NSLC members took the opportunity to thank Lucas for her dedication and leadership in keeping the club vibrant and advancing its mission, “We Serve.” She was presented with an engraved plaque and flowers in appreciation of her service.
Both Lucas and Roach have been actively involved for many years with numerous North Salem community organizations, working to improve the quality of life throughout the town and beyond.
As a longtime NSLC member, Roach is enthusiastically supported by her fellow Lions members as she begins her new leadership role.
Roach will be supported on the NSLC Board by John White, treasurer; Mary Molina, secretary; Stephen DePaola, first vice president; Larry Devey, second vice president; and Sal Pantezzi, third vice president. The president and board members were elected to serve one-year terms.
The North Salem Lions Club is a service organization whose motto is “We Serve.”
