NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - After ending the regular season with a decisive sweep of Pawling and a tough loss to Dobbs Ferry, North Salem volleyball has set their sights on making some noise in the playoffs.
As they ready to open the postseason on Nov. 7, Coach Toni Fiore took time to reflect on her team’s progress this year.
“I've seen massive improvement throughout this season,” Fiore explained. “To start off 0-4 and remain positive and hungry to fight our way to a 10-8 record is such a major accomplishment.”
The Tigers will enter the playoffs as the #2 seed, hosting Alexander Hamilton in the semi-finals on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m.
“The team and I are excited to enter the sectional tournament this year and see our potential in advancing further than we have in past seasons,” added Fiore. "There is just this level of competitiveness and determination that I see in this group.”
