NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - After last year’s state championship win, there was little doubt that North Salem’s boys soccer team was once again poised for another big season.
After starting their campaign 5-0, the Tigers are already on the prowl for another title.
The squad kicked off with wins over Dobbs Ferry and Blind Brook and have continued to mow down opponents using Coach Ron Hendrie’s playbook of balanced offense and stifling defense.
Through five games, North Salem has outscored opponents 15-3, with seven different players scoring goals.
