After capturing the section championship in dominant fashion the previous week, the Tigers kept things rolling in the first round of the Class C regionals.

North Salem squared off against Section 1 champions Rhinebeck at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, and showed no signs of taking their foot off the gas.

Providing the heroics with a pair of goals was sophomore Juben Lazri, who had previously netted a hat trick against Haldane in the sectional semi-finals and scored another in the 6-0 rout of Tuckahoe in the finals.

Justin Major and Aidan Santis added assists and George Naber had 4 saves in the 2-0 win.
