NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - After falling to Tuckahoe in the section finals last year, North Salem girls soccer is refocused and ready to rumble.
With a roster including 12 returning members, the squad will look to their seasoned players for leadership.
Leading the Tigers into battle this season will be a trio of senior captains, Zoe Elias Ashley Cindrich, and Noemi Torres.
Coach Bob Martin will once again be at the helm of the Tigers and is ready to meet the challenges ahead.
“This season will hopefully be one of growth and development,” Martin says. “We have a challenging schedule and hopefully that can give us an opportunity to gain experience.”
Bulstering the roster will be senior Brianna Rodriguez, juniors Jolie Camaj, Alana Cerasoli, Emma Greenberg, Jennifer Killeen, Grace Schaeffer, and Katie Vassak, sophomores Abby Bain, Sophia Blackman, Jaella Henry, Maddy Horel, Sydney Merriman, Jackie Moore, and Sienna Paldin, and freshman Mackenzie Carroll and Denise De Dios.

The Tigers got blanked on the road against a tough John Jay squad. Schaeffer had 7 saves in goal.
“It was a challenging first game against a quality opponent,” said Coach Martin. “It will be a process. We will build on each game.”
