Nancy Rosado Castro, 77, a resident of Brewster, NY, passed away on March 28, 2026, at Danbury Hospital.
Born on May 18, 1948, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Nancy was the daughter of Vicente Rosado and Altagracia Milagros Muniz. She spent her professional career working as a bookkeeper in the produce industry in the Bronx.
She is survived by her two daughters, Nanette Jeraci of Salt Point, NY, and Melissa Mitil of Somers, NY, their husbands Joseph and Robert, and her three cherished grandchildren: Lorenzo Robert Mitil, William Vincent McDermott III, and Nicolette Paige Mitil. She is also survived by her sister, Awilda Olivieri of the Bronx,, and her nephews and niece.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Internment of her ashes will follow at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lung Cancer Association. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher Funeral Home.
