Michael Charles Pugliese of Patterson, NY, passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 16, 2026, in Danbury, CT at the age of 56.
Michael was born October 3, 1969, in Cortlandt Manor, NY son of the late Charles and Karen (Gaska) Pugliese. He graduated from Brewster High School in 1988. On July 1, 2006, he married Melissa Osborn in Christ Church in Pawling. They have lived in Patterson for over twenty years. Michael was a Mechanic at All Pro Transmission in Somers for many years before working as a Mechanic at Justin’s Automotive in Patterson. Michael loved baseball, the Yankees, Iron Man, Instagram Reels and 1976 Trans Am’s.
Besides his wife Melissa, Michael is survived by his in laws Wayne and Linda Osborn of Pawling, NY; brothers and sisters in law Scott and Candy Osborn of Lagrangeville, NY and Bradley and Sandra Osborn of New Haven, CT; nieces and nephews Nathan, Andrew, Jacob, Samantha and Gabriella; first cousins Dawn and Louis Pugliese and his service dog whom he loved and adored, Molly. Michael was predeceased by his brother Duane Pugliese.
Calling hours will be held at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY on Tuesday August 25, 2026, from 3 to 8 p.m. with a service starting during the hours at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Raymond Mellet officiating. The interment will be private.
