This fall, Whispering Pines Nursery and Garden Center is turning up the seasonal charm with a lineup of family-friendly events that bring the community together for learning, laughter, and plenty of fall fun.
The season kicks off on Sunday, September 21 at 12 p.m. with a free Perennial Care class, perfect for gardeners who want to keep their blooms thriving year after year. On Saturday, October 4, the focus turns to Native Plants, with another free class led by the experts at Whispering Pines.
Things get even more festive on Sunday, October 5, when Clover Brooke Farm brings their furry friends—alpacas, llamas, goats, and rabbits—for a day of animal meet-and-greets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., complete with a food truck on site.
The following weekend, Sunday, October 12, Whispering Pines partners with the Westchester SPCA for a Dog Adoption Event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., alongside delicious wood-fired pies from the DiNapoli Pizza Truck.
Next, on Sunday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., families are invited to enjoy pumpkin painting and fall festivities, with a food truck and activities for all ages.
And to wrap up the month, Sunday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Whispering Pines will host a festive Trunk O’ Treat and Costume Contest—a fun, spooky celebration for all ages, complete with a food truck.
