Daniel Thomas Dwyer passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT.
Daniel was born on October 25, 1989, in Mt. Kisco, New York, the son of Kevin B. and Nancy McIntyre Dwyer. He was raised in North Salem and Brewster and graduated from Kennedy Catholic in 2007 where he was an active member of the golf team and drama club.
Daniel's primary passion was golf. He was on the golf team in high school and made a career as a caddy and pro shop attendant. When he wasn't working, he was playing the sport he loved. Daniel also enjoyed the mechanical aspect of working on cars and stereo systems. He had a special place in his heart for all children. During his teenage years, he especially enjoyed working with children and adults with special needs at North East Westchester Special Recreation.
Daniel received his sacraments at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Croton Falls. Daniel is survived by his parents, Kevin and Nancy, his sisters, Kelly Marie Olney (Brian) of Redding, CT and Heather Elizabeth Dwyer of Brewster, NY as well as his nieces and nephews, Bridget, James, Henry, and Paige Olney. He is also survived by his partner of seven years, Chanel Orgill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 34 Prospect St., Brewster, NY on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10 a.m. A wake will be held at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave in Brewster, NY on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3 to 7 p.m.
