NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The Town of North Salem and the businesses of Croton Falls will help the community get into the holiday spirit this weekend.

On Saturday, Dec. 14, at 5 p.m., the inaugural Christmas Tree and Menorah lighting event will be held on the Croton Falls Greenspace at Gazebo Park between the railroad tracks and Route 22.

Complimentary hot apple cider, donuts, and mulled wine will be available, and Pastor Tim Wagner of the Croton Falls Community Church will be in attendance to offer a holiday greeting. Croton Falls businesses will also be open late for holiday shopping.

The new Christmas tree was generously donated by Bob Covino of Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard.

Parking will be available in the back commuter lot. For those who may have issues walking, 12 parking spots are available behind the Greenspace along the railroad tracks.
