NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The Croton Falls Community Church is inviting the community to take part in a series of Holy Week services and Easter celebrations, offering a mix of traditional observances and family-friendly events.

Holy Week begins on Sunday, March 29, with a Palm Sunday Procession starting at the Croton Falls Train Station at 10 a.m. Participants will then make their way to the church sanctuary for a worship service at 10:30 a.m., marking the start of the Easter season.

On Friday, April 3, the church will observe Good Friday with its “Stations of the Cross,” offered at two times—noon and 7 p.m.—allowing attendees flexibility to reflect on the solemn day.

Easter Sunday services will take place on April 5, beginning with a sunrise gathering at 8 a.m. at the historic Cross River 1791 Meeting House. The service will be led by Deacon Billy Bowen and offers a peaceful start to the day in a historic setting.

Later that morning, a Festival Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the church, led by Timothy Wagner. The service will center on the theme, “What do April showers bring?”

Following the Festival Service, families are invited to stay for a festive celebration featuring an Alleluia Egg Hunt and an Easter bonnet hat contest, making the morning both meaningful and fun for all ages.
