NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Motorists traveling on Interstate 684 between Bedford and North Salem should expect lane reductions at night through the end of November as construction work gets underway.
The New York State Department of Transportation said I-684 will be reduced to two lanes between Exit 6 (Route 35) in the Town of Bedford and Exit 7 (Route 116) in the Town of North Salem.
The restrictions will be in place Monday through Friday nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. to allow construction activities to take place.
The work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change based on conditions. Motorists are advised to use caution and allow additional travel time when traveling through the construction zone.
