Social Knitting Club
On Monday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Meeting at the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden. The knitting group is a great way for knitters of all skill levels to come together, share their knowledge, and work on projects. In addition, it's a great way to make friends, learn new techniques, and have fun with other knitters. So whether you're a beginner who needs help with the basics or an experienced knitter who wants to learn something new, the knitting group can provide a supportive and encouraging environment.
Writer's Workshop
On Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Want to be a more consistent writer? Want to challenge yourself to write outside of your comfort zone? Want to learn tips and tricks from fellow writer's? Then the Writer's Workshop is the group for you! Get a writing prompt at each meeting, then bring your finished work to share with the group. You'll give each other feedback to help strengthen your skills while also holding each other accountable to spend more time writing. Meeting the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month in the conference room.
