NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Get ready to run, walk, stroll, or even prance for a good cause!

The North Salem Lions Club will host its 2nd Annual Run of the Mills “Jingle Jangle” 5K on Saturday, Dec. 6, promising a festive morning of family-friendly fun while supporting local families in need.

The event begins with registration and check-in at 8:30 a.m. at the North Salem Lions Community Center, located at 1 Titicus River Road, with the 5K starting promptly at 9 a.m.

The race welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, and festive costumes are encouraged to spread holiday cheer along the route.

The 5K course takes runners and walkers on a scenic route: turning right on First Street, left on Mills Road, a turnaround at Bogtown Road, then returning along Mills Road and finishing on Titicus River Road back at the Lions Community Center. The race is self-timed, so participants can enjoy the experience at their own pace.

Entry is $15 per person, and all proceeds will go toward supporting local families through food gift card donations from ShopRite, ACME, Stop & Shop, and Amazon. After crossing the finish line, participants can warm up with hot chocolate and treats as they celebrate their accomplishment.

Whether you’re looking for a brisk run, a leisurely stroll, or a family outing with a festive twist, the Jingle Jangle 5K offers a perfect way to get active and give back this holiday season.
