The Senior Hall of Fame began as part of the 300th Anniversary of Westchester County’s founding to showcase how seniors have contributed to building the county.

Over the past 42 years, nearly 1,600 seniors have been inducted.

To be nominated, seniors must have made significant and enduring contributions to enhance Westchester’s quality of life through their professional work, volunteer achievements, or both. Community members make nominations, and a panel of judges selects the honorees.

Pointing to “their contributions to the betterment of our county,” County Executive George Latimer said he was honored to recognize this year’s group of seniors and to induct them into the Hall of Fame.

“The Class of 2024 honorees have made a lasting impact on the County, and we thank them for all they have done and will continue to do,” said DSPS Commissioner Mae Carpenter.

This year’s event is sponsored by: Annual Sponsor - New York-Presbyterian and Bronze Sponsor –Wartburg.
