Walter L. Smalley of Brewster NY, passed away unexpectedly, at home on Sunday Oct. 19, 2025 at the age of 71.
Walter was born September 27, 1954 in Port Chester NY. Son of the late Walter and Marilyn (Bishop) Smalley. He was a graduate of Port Chester High School.
He married Margaret Visci of Rye, NY on November 7th, 1997. They resided in Rye before moving to Brewster NY.
Walter loved to vacation in the Berkshire Mountains where he enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was an avid league bowler and also tried his hand at other forms of gaming, including lottery and casino games.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Margaret, his sister Dawn (Frank) of Florida, and his Aunt Gloria, also of Florida. He will be missed by his nephew Sergio and niece Lisa Delpino as well as his great nephews and nieces.
Walter will be remembered as a fun and kind man by his extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.
