Sept. 26

Flannel & Fire Fundraiser

The Bedford Historical Society will host its second annual Flannel & Fire fundraiser from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the Village Green. The evening will feature food, drinks, fire and community gathering, with guests encouraged to wear their favorite flannel. Ticket levels range from $100 for junior guests ages 21–26 to $170 for nonmembers, with food and drinks included. Proceeds support the Historical Society and its work preserving Bedford’s historic character.

Oct. 2–4

Italian Heritage Festival

Enjoy three days of Italian food, vendors and carnival rides at Kirby Plaza, capped by a Sunday car show featuring up to 100 vehicles.

Oct. 3

Hispanic Heritage Festival

Fountain Park comes alive from noon to 6 p.m. with food from Mount Kisco restaurants, Latin American music and dance, bachata lessons, games and giveaways. Rain date: Oct. 10.

Oct. 4

Relive the Battle of White Plains

The Pound Ridge Historical Society continues its Revolutionary War Lecture Series with historian and educator Michael DiMinno from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Pound Ridge Library, 271 Westchester Ave. Presented in honor of Rev250, DiMinno will explore the Battle of White Plains and its place in the American Revolution. Oct. 7

Swing Dance

Redline Swing returns to Redline Music Stage at K1, 333 N. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco. A dance lesson begins at 7 p.m., followed by live music from 8 to 10 p.m. Admission is $18 early bird, $22 in advance and $28 at the door. All are welcome; no partner is needed. Swingout Rhythm Dance Club offers weekly classes, monthly social dances and special workshops while building community through Lindy Hop and related styles. Visit srdc.online.
