Pound Ridge Election Results: Democrats sweep to victory

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – In the race for Pound Ridge Town Board, incumbent councilpersons Diane Briggs and Daniel Paschkes, both Democrats, were re-elected with 1,115 and 1,080 votes respectively, according to unofficial results released by the Westchester County Board of Elections.

They bested challengers Peter Avellino and Ronald Asaro, both of the Pound Ridge Party, who got 626 and 629 votes respectively.

Returned to office with 1,108 votes was Supervisor Kevin Hansan, a Democrat.

Challenger John D. McCown, of the Pound Ridge Party, received 643 votes.

Democrat Drifa A. Segal, who was unopposed, won re-election as receiver of taxes with 1,330 votes. Renee S. Motola, also a Democrat, was re-elected town justice with 1,298 votes.
