MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - Voters in Mount Kisco cast their ballots in favor of a shift on the Village Board on Election Day.
Deputy Mayor Theresa Flora and Trustee Angie Garcia-Guerra, who ran on both the Republican and the VIP lines, were ousted by Democratic challengers Heather Bryant and Tammy Brown.
Bryant and Brown received 1,222 and 1,212 votes, respectively, while Flora garnered 1,020 votes and Garcia-Guerra received 947 votes.
Mayor J. Michael Cindrich, who ran unopposed on the Republican and independent Village Inclusive Party lines, won re-election with 1,370 votes.
Also re-elected as town justice was Democrat Anthony C. Markus, who ran unopposed, with 1,585 votes.
