MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - Four Mount Kisco seniors were honored for their outstanding service to their community and to the county.

Inducted into the Westchester County Senior Hall of Fame on Dec. 6 in Tarrytown were Linda Cindrich, Leila Dabby, Ed Reilly, and Ralph Vigliotti.

The Senior Hall of Fame began as part of the 300th Anniversary of Westchester County’s founding to showcase how seniors have contributed to building the county.

Over the past 42 years, nearly 1,600 seniors have been inducted.

To be nominated, seniors must have made significant and enduring contributions to enhance Westchester’s quality of life through their professional work, volunteer achievements, or both. Community members make nominations, and a panel of judges selects the honorees.

Prior to the ceremony, Westchester County Executive George Latimer said that the accomplishments and contributions from this year’s honorees made him proud to be your county executive.”

“The Class of 2024 honorees have made a lasting impact on the county, and we thank them for all they have done and will continue to do,” said Mae Carpenter, commissioner of the county Department of Senior Programs and Services.
