Mount Kisco Police Blotter: Public intoxication, assault, larceny at Target

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - The following is a sample of some of the incidents or calls for service handled by Westchester County Police in Mount Kisco.

Dec. 15

Police responded to a report of a gas odor at a Parkview Place residence at 12:06 a.m. Mount Kisco Fire Department checked the premises.

Throughout the early morning hours, officers conducted routine inspections at the Mount Kisco train station, Leonard Park, houses of worship, auto dealerships along Kisco Avenue, and other public locations.

At 1:29 a.m., police received a report of a hit-and-run property-damage accident in the South Moger Avenue parking lot near the train station. The vehicle owner declined to file a report.

At 5:57 a.m., officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man attempting to enter a closed business. The man, who lived nearby and did not require medical attention, was escorted home for safety.

Police assisted an elderly man injured in a fall on Stewart Place at 7:03 a.m. He declined further medical attention.

Several traffic stops were conducted throughout the day, resulting in summonses and warnings.

Multiple motor vehicle accidents were reported on Carlton Drive, Kensico Drive, Main Street, and Moore Avenue. All involved property damage only, and reports were prepared.

At 2:49 p.m., officers assisted a woman in her 90s who fell down stairs in her Woodland Street home and sustained a head injury. She was transported to the hospital by Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps (VAC).

Later in the day, officers assisted two additional elderly residents who fell in their homes. Both were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

At 6:56 p.m., police responded to Target on North Bedford Road after store security detained a larceny suspect. A 33-year-old Somers woman was charged with petit larceny after allegedly attempting to refund $82 worth of merchandise for cash. She was released pending a Jan. 8, 2026, court appearance.

Police also responded to medical calls involving heart-related issues and a 911 hang-up call that was determined to be non-emergent.

Dec. 16

Officers assisted a man who had fallen in his Stewart Place residence shortly after midnight. He was transported to the hospital by Westchester EMS.

Routine inspections were conducted at schools, houses of worship, auto dealerships, and commercial areas.

At 12:12 p.m., police responded to a Stratford Drive residence following a report that a woman’s daughter’s ex-boyfriend unlawfully entered the apartment and damaged property. After an investigation, the man was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a Dec. 18 court appearance.

At 2 p.m., police were called to the Mount Kisco Public Library to remove two men violating library conduct rules. One complied; the second became aggressive and was arrested. The 27-year-old man was charged with disorderly conduct and released pending a Jan. 8, 2026, court date.

Several motor vehicle accidents occurred throughout the day, including one at Barker Street and Carpenter Avenue in which one person was injured and transported to Northern Westchester Hospital.

Police also assisted residents experiencing seizures and other medical emergencies.

Later that evening, officers responded to a report of a youth in emotional distress who had left home after a family argument. The youth was located and returned home safely.

Dec. 17

Officers conducted routine inspections overnight and responded to a motor vehicle accident on Grove Street at 6:43 a.m. A woman sustained a minor injury and was evaluated by EMS.

At 2:08 p.m., police assisted an intoxicated man behind a South Moger Avenue business. He was transported to the hospital.

At 6:01 p.m., a patron reported a theft from a locker at a North Bedford Road health club involving approximately $800 worth of personal property. The investigation was turned over to detectives.

Police later responded to a roommate dispute on Lexington Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 18

Officers conducted early-morning inspections of auto dealerships, houses of worship, and public facilities.

Police responded to neighbor disputes, medical calls involving seizures and injuries, and a domestic incident on Woodland Street at 1:50 p.m. A 34-year-old man was charged with third-degree assault after allegedly injuring a woman. He was released following arraignment, and a temporary order of protection was issued.

Later that day, officers took a report of identity theft involving a fraudulent bank account opened in a resident’s name.

Multiple traffic stops resulted in summonses and warnings. Inspections continued into the overnight hours at public facilities and religious institutions.
