Mary Edwards, 94 of Bedford Hills, NY formally of Mt. Kisco, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 10, 2026.
Mary was born on May 12, 1932, Bridgeport Ct. to the late Margaret Tomlinson and Walter Baxter. Mary worked part-time at Caldor's as a homemaker. Mary was a resident of Mt. Kisco for 45 years, before moving to Bedford Hills where she has resided for the past 18 years. Mary had a passion for cooking, gardening her flowers, reading, spending time with family and playing lottery scratch offs. Mary was a lifetime member of the Moses Taylor Jr. Post 136 Auxillary for over 50 years. She was an active member of the Bedford Hills and Mt Kisco Seniors, going on trips, playing Bingo and enjoying the other senior members.
Mary is survived by her daughter Diane (Robert "Bosco") Bancroft, of Bedford Hills, son Bruce (Denise) Edwards, of Ossning, daughter Jo-Ann (George) Haletzky, of Poughkeepsie, daughter Meri-Ann (Michael) Stasiak, of Myrtle Beach. Her grandchildren Bruce, Stephanie, Robbie, Michael, Toni, Kelly, Christopher, Kristy, Rashan, Gregory, Courtney. Her great-grandchildren TJ, Krissy, Liam, Faith, Langston, Gabriel, Hayden, Oliver, Hayden and Hailey. She is also survived by her sister Debbie (Gary) Onko sisters-in-law Eleanor Sheils, Ann Edwards and brother-in-law Edward Baranosky, Joseph Klosky and many nieces and nephews. Her late husband Robert Edwards who she was married to for 63 years.
A memorial service and wake will be held on Monday June 15, 2026.
