A 53-year-old Pennsylvania man is facing multiple felonies after allegedly being found carrying drugs and a weapon during a traffic stop on May 7.
According to Westchester County PD, the man was stopped for speeding at around noon in the vicinity of Kisco Avenue and the Saw Mill River Parkway.
After investigation, the man was found to be in possession of 22 grams of crack cocaine that was hidden in his underwear. An electronic “stun gun” was also found in his car.
The man was booked at the Green Street precinct on felony charges of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (intent to sell). He was also charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors, and issued a summons for speeding. He was arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court in the evening and remanded to the Westchester County Jail. He is scheduled to appear next in court on May 13.
An officer observed a man drinking from a can of beer at Main Street and Lexington Avenue at 1:41 p.m. A summons was issued for public consumption of an alcoholic beverage, a violation.
A report was received at 8:38 p.m. of gunshots in the vicinity of Foxwood Circle. An officer reported hearing fireworks in that area while on patrol a short time later. The area was checked again. No condition found.
A Carpenter Avenue resident reported at 10:47 p.m. that someone had thrown an object at his front door a short time earlier. He was unable to provide a description of anyone involved.
An officer and Mount Kisco FD responded to Spring Street on a report that a fence near a home was on fire. The homeowner was able to extinguish the small fire as MKFD responded.
Officers responded to Spring Street at 5:27 p.m. on a report of dispute between a father and son. Verbal in nature. Mobile Crisis Response Team requested. Domestic incident report prepared.
“Block the Box” enforcement at Main Street and Kirby Plaza from 8:43 to 9:08 a.m. Two warnings issued.
May 6
Motor vehicle collision reported at 5:58 p.m. in the 600 block of East Main Street. One person experienced chest pain and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Complaint received at 5:17 a.m. of three intoxicated males at the Mount Kisco train station. The three men were directed to leave the area. An officer remained at the station until 5:54 a.m. to ensure they did not return.
A resident came to the Green Street precinct at 10:44 p.m. to file a fraud complaint. A patrol officer prepared a report and turned the matter over to detectives for continued investigation.
An officer responded to ShopRite on North Bedford Road to take possession of a wallet and cellphone found in the store. Based on identification in the wallet, the officer was able to return the items to the owner.
A 56-year-old White Plains resident turned himself in with his attorney at 6:54 p.m. on two outstanding warrants issued by Mount Kisco Justice Court. He was booked on the warrant charges of second-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest. He was brought to village court where the charges were dismissed. The man also had an outstanding arrest warrant in Pleasantville and was held at the precinct until Pleasantville police responded and took him into custody.
An intoxicated man called police at 9:28 p.m. from the 100 block of Lexington Avenue. He was located by officers and EMS was requested.
