Linda Malan, a source of strength and love to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, in Yorktown, NY. Born on June 19, 1950, in Peekskill, NY, Linda's life was a testament to the power of joy and generosity, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Linda graduated from Lakeland High School, where she formed friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. Her zest for life was infectious. She was the heart of her family, a woman who was admired for her unwavering love and dedication to her loved ones.

Linda is predeceased by her parents Bert and Hilde Lowenstein. Linda is survived by her husband, Mike Malan, who was her biggest supporter and champion through the years. She shared a special bond with her sister, Elaine, (Sue). Linda was a beloved mother to her daughter, Bari Martinelli (Nick), and to her son, Brian Malan. Her role as "Mema" to Nicholas, Maci, Max, Bailee, and Gavin was one she cherished above all. She took immense pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow, celebrating milestones, and watching and cheering at every sporting event.

Linda's love for life extended beyond the walls of her home. She was never happier than when she was surrounded by family and friends, whether it was enjoying dinner out or attending summer concerts under the open sky.

Those who knew Linda were often touched by her generosity. Whether it was her time, her attention, or her ability to make someone's day a little brighter, she gave freely and with an open heart. Linda was also known for her sense of humor—a witty remark or a perfectly timed joke was her way of spreading happiness.

Linda's spirit—loving, funny, strong, generous—will forever remain a part of those who loved her. She has left behind more than memories; she has imprinted her love on the hearts of her family and friends, and her legacy will continue to inspire.

Linda's life was a beautiful journey that has come to an end on this earth, but her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched. As we bid farewell to Linda Malan, let us hold close the laughter, the love, and the moments of pure joy that she brought into our world. Her story does not end here; for she lives on in the cherished memories we carry and in the love that we will continue to share in her honor.
