Edwin J. Moles, 80, of Brewster, NY passed away on March 22, 2026.

Edwin was the son of the late Rita (Mullen) and Edwin J. Moles, Sr. He was born July 1,1945, in Brooklyn, NY. He and his parents moved around New York state living in Brooklyn, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, Albany, and Pleasantville, before finally settling in Bedford Hills, NY. He was a graduate of Fox Lane High School in 1964. Upon completion of high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served during the war in Vietnam from 1965-1967. After returning home from Vietnam he married his former wife, Anna Messina. He resided in Katonah with his two daughters, Elisa and Colleen. Before moving to Brewster, NY, Ed was a fixture in the Bedford Hills and Katonah area, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was a jack of all trades – skilled in construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more. He was a dedicated and loyal employee to Frank and Carol Nickell for over 20 years. He also owned and operated Katonah Electric for over 30 years and was known for being an outstanding electrician.

Ed enjoyed boating, fishing, bringing his classic car to car shows and vacationing at the Jersey shore. He was a range officer at Blue Mountain Sportsman Center in Cortlandt, NY. He was a proud member of the VFW and Elks Lodge in Brewster and the Moose Lodge in Danbury, CT.

Edwin is survived by his daughters, Elisa Anfuso (Michael) and Colleen Moles (Scott Jacobson). His grandchildren Samantha, Ryan and Christopher Anfuso, Anthony Agro (Alexis), and Colin and Carlyanne Krebs. His great grandson, Easton John. His wonderful companion, Eileen McIlvenna, his ex-wife, Anna, and his faithful dog, Missy.

Ed’s kindness and humor to the people he loved will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know him.
