MAHOPAC, N.Y.—Pro wrestler Tommy Dreamer is ready to rumble this Saturday (April 5), when he comes to Mahopac to headline a 3 p.m. card in a match against Brolly as part of a Lake Mahopac Rotary fundraiser.
Dreamer—a veteran of Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)—has held numerous championships, including two stints as ECW World Heavyweight Champ (he’s the only man to take the title in both the original ECW and WWE's ECW brand), the ECW World Tag Team Championship, and the WWF/E Hardcore Championship. Widely regarded as the "heart and soul" of ECW, he is currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
As for Brolly, the man seems to do most of his talking in the ring (or steel cage).
Other highlights include WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas and former WWE star Gino "Mr. Italy" Caruso appearing in a title tag team match.
A portion of the proceeds from this fundraising event will be given to Guardian Revival, a nonprofit dedicated to helping military members, veterans, and first responders.
