Posted

On Saturday, April 11, the Putnam County Land Trust will hold a gala dinner and auction at Centennial Golf Club, 185 John Simpson Road, Carmel Hamlet, to celebrate 57 years of protecting land and quality of life in Putnam County.

The dinner starts at 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour. The Mahopac Jazz Band Combo will play, and hors d’oeuvres will be provided in the courtyard and dining hall.

The buffet dinner will begin around 6 p.m. Attendees will be able to enjoy a number of activities, including a silent and live auction, both featuring new and unusual items. Craig Kravit will again serve as the live auctioneer and will bring his passion for having fun while helping PCLT raise money to fund its programs.

Videos and photos of land trust board members, stewards and volunteers from over the years will be on display during the evening as the organization celebrates the people, nearby land trusts, Scouting America and others who have worked to protect forests and water.

Tickets are $75 per person before April 2 and $85 after.

Tickets may be reserved by contacting Judy Terlizzi at 845-743-3187 or emailing judy@putnamcountylandtrust.org. Questions about sponsorships and donations may also be directed to Terlizzi.

The Putnam County Land Trust has permanently protected more than 1,350 acres of land and provides trails open to the public on 28 preserves.
