MAHOPAC, N.Y.—The Mahopac Central School District administration is seeking input on its 2025-2026 budget.
In a letter sent to the community and shared with Halston Media, Superintendent Christine Tona noted that a similar effort for the 2024-25 budget proved useful.
“As you may know, School Budget Season is upon us, and we are in the process of developing the school budget for the 2025-2026 school year,” Tona said. “As we did last year, we would like to receive the input and perspective of families, students, employees, and community members. We invite you to participate in our survey to share what your priorities are for the school budget for the upcoming school year.”
Tona said the survey will be anonymous and will remain open through Monday, March 3.
“Please take a few minutes to provide your responses,” she said. “Community input is essential to the budget development process and is highly valued and appreciated by the district.”
The survey can be accessed at Mahopac CSD 2025-2026 School Budget Community Input Survey.
