MAHOPAC, N.Y.—The Wolf Pac boys soccer team picked up a 3-1 win over Brewster last Monday at home, with goals coming from Sebastian Bilinski, Aidan Paris-Devane, and Oliver Filip. Andrew Provenzano, Filip, and Paris-Devane each had assists.
The Pac went up 3-0 on Filip’s goal (from Paris-Devane) in the 15th minute of the second half, before the Bears got on the scoreboard a minute later.
Esteban Sanchez had seven saves for Mahopac; Bears keeper Jack Stasi had five for Brewster.
“That was a good game for us,” Mahopac coach Chris Mulholland said. “We had a lot of players join the rotation, and they all stepped up and played well. It was a great group effort, and a lot of players contributed to that win.”
Mahopac couldn’t find any offense in a 3-0 loss two days later at home against Arlington.
“A really tough game for us,” Mulholland said. “And I think the boys put in a great effort. Connor Sterbens had 14 saves for us, and was really strong throughout the game. And Aidan Paris-Devane, Sebastian Bilinski, and Michael Oteng all had strong games for us.”
Mahopac was set to visit RCK Thursday at 4:30 p.m., and hosts Poughkeepsie Saturday at 10 a.m.*
