MAHOPAC, N.Y. - After 15 years in business, the Freight House Café closed its doors last week. Donna Massaro, owner of the popular Mahopac coffeehouse, was lauded by elected officials when County Executive Kevin Byrne and Carmel Supervisor Mike Cazzari presented her with certificates thanking her for 15 years in service to the community.
“I am sorry to see it go,” Cazzari said.
