Nature walk takes flight at Airport Park

The organization Dads Always Doing Something (DADS), the Carmel Department of Recreation and Parks, and the Lake Mahopac Garden Club recently co-hosted an outing at Mahopac’s Airport Park, which, in addition to hosting soccer fields and a new playground, features wooded trails and a path down to Lake McGregor. The day also included some planting and other activities.

“DADS is always trying to host community events to bring people together and explore the beauty within our town,” organizers said. “We are trying to set a good example for future generations to keep our trails, parks and neighborhoods clean while having some fun.”
