SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. - The Vista Volunteer Fire Department hosted its annual “Pasta Night & Open House” on Saturday, May 16, welcoming community members, neighboring emergency service agencies, families, and supporters for an evening of food, fire prevention education, and community engagement.
Guests enjoyed a pasta dinner while touring fire apparatus, meeting firefighters and EMTs, learning important fire safety information, and exploring opportunities to volunteer with the Department as Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), or Apparatus Drivers.
The event highlighted the strong connection between the Department and the community it proudly serves, while also showcasing the important role volunteer emergency responders play in protecting the residents of the Vista Fire District and surrounding areas.
The Department extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who attended and supported the event, as well as the many volunteers who helped make the evening a success.
The Vista Volunteer Fire Department would also like to recognize and thank the generous donors who contributed to the event’s silent auction, including Essie Cohen, Ariye (Eric) Zohar, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, K1 Speed, Russell Speeder's Car Wash, Ring's End, Brian Smith, and the Lewisboro Police Department for their support of the department and the local community.
