KATONAH, N.Y. - The Harvey School in Katonah will hold its annual Fall Open House on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Parents exploring middle school and high school options for their children for this year, next year or the following year will have the opportunity to spend part of the morning with key members of the Harvey faculty and administration to learn about the school’s “rigor with heart” academic approach, its multifaceted arts program, its competitive athletics opportunities, its wide range of elective and after-school offerings and the five-day boarding option for students in Grades 8-12.
Attendees will also get the chance to meet current students and parents who are excited to share their experiences at Harvey. Visitors will also participate in student-led tours, speak to current school parents, and meet faculty and administrators who will be on hand to answer questions about such topics as the academics, athletics and student life at Harvey, an independent college-preparatory school for students in Grades 6-12.
“Our Fall Open House is the perfect opportunity for prospective families and students to discover what makes a Harvey education unique,” said Director of Admissions Roger Del Pozo. “At Harvey, we welcome students to be ‘who they are’ so they feel confident and comfortable challenging themselves to ‘become who they want to be.’”
Tours will traverse Harvey’s 125-acre hilltop campus on Route 22, which features multi-sports athletic fields, the iconic Evarts Ice Rink, the state-of-the-art Walker Center for the Arts and Fenstermacher Athletic Center, the Upper School complex and the middle school housed separately on the lower campus.
Those wishing to attend the Fall Open House 2024 should visit harveyschool.org/openhouse.
