LEWISBORO, N.Y. - A Bronx man is facing multiple charges after being found with a sizable collection of drugs and paraphernalia in Lewisboro last week.
On Thursday, June 5, around 9 p.m., troopers in a multi-agency proactive patrol detail pulled over a vehicle traveling northbound on I-684 for traffic violations.
The driver, Christopher Vinson, 43, of the Bronx, consented to a search which revealed 137.6 grams of mushrooms, 10.5 ounces of cannabis, and drug paraphernalia.
Vinson was arrested and charged by Somers BCI Investigators with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree (Class A felony), two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (Class A misdemeanors), and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis – More than 3 ounces or 24 grams (violation).
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lewisboro Court on June 16.
