Barks and boos: Howl-O-Ween comes to Lewisboro

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Costumed pooches and their proud humans really raised the woof at Lewisboro’s recent “Howl-O-Ween” party in the town park.

There was peanut butter treat stations, bobbing for bones, pumpkin decorating, bouncy rides, popcorn and cider, DJ music to boogie to, and the chance to mingle with Lilo and Stitch of Disney fame.

Of course, there were plenty of photo ops on that sunny Saturday afternoon for canine participants who came as everything from pumpkins and dinosaurs to baseball players and cowboys.
