WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. —As New York State prepares its budget for fiscal year 2026, Assemblywoman Dana Levenberg is encouraging residents in her 95th District and neighboring communities to be vocal about their opinions.
As Levenberg and her staff dive into the details of Governor Kathy Hochul’s Executive Proposal, she said they are focusing on finding common ground to better serve her district. Over the coming days and weeks, Levenberg will be hosting a series of Town Halls to connect with her constituents in person.
Levenberg, a Democrat, also raised concerns about how policies of the Republican-controlled federal government would affect New York and encouraged community members to reach out to their federal representatives during this process.
“In order to have a budget that enables all New Yorkers to thrive, we need to get our due from Washington. Early signs indicate that this will be a big fight ," she said and added that "now is the time to make sure your federal representatives know where you stand on these issues, before these proposals become law.”
