Garibaldi Society of Lewisboro Columbus Day Event

The Garibaldi Society of Lewisboro will hold their annual Columbus Day event from 2 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, at The Horse and Hound in South Salem.

The event will feature Italian music by Vincent and food provided by Sue Vales. Proceeds will benefit deserving John Jay High School students. Last year’s event raised $3,200, with every penny donated to students, and organizers hope to surpass that amount this year.

The event will also honor original founder Dean Travalino, who recently passed away. Donations may be made by cash or check payable to Simone Petromelis.
