NORTH SALEM, NY -- When you participate in Friends of Karen’s Back-to-School program, you give parents, consumed with caring for their critically ill child, peace of mind knowing their children will be ready for the new school year. You’ll relieve a financial and emotional hardship that can overwhelm a family at this difficult time and renew the excitement that a new backpack crammed full of crisp school supplies always brings.
This is what Friends of Karen children need:
New sturdy backpacks like JanSport, school supplies and gift cards of $25, $50, $100 to Target, Walmart, Amazon and Staples.
You can help us by inviting your friends, family and colleagues to start a Back-to-School supply drive or if you’d prefer not to shop, we’ll happily do the shopping for you.
