BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. - A Bedford Hills resident has claimed a top prize on a New York Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $3 million.

Mario Rodriguez Donis won the grand prize on the Lottery’s “$3,000,000 Max” scratch-off game, according to lottery officials.

Rodriguez Donis opted to receive the winnings as a lump-sum payment and took home $1,360,593 after required tax withholdings.

The winning ticket was purchased at A Plus Mini Mart, located at 791 N. Bedford Road in Bedford Hills.

The New York Lottery said all top prizes for the “$3,000,000 Max” game have now been claimed, although lower-tier prizes remain available through March 6, 2027.

During the 2024-25 fiscal year, New York Lottery scratch-off games generated more than $4.3 billion in sales statewide. In Westchester County, school districts received more than $136 million in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
