Posted

The Yorktown Board of Education unanimously reappointed Lisa Rolle and Reshmi Bose to serve as president and vice president, respectively, for the 2026-27 academic year, citing continuity and a smooth transition in leadership.

They were nominated and sworn in during the board’s annual organizational meeting on July 1.

Rolle, who served as vice president during the 2024-25 school year, succeeded Jackie Carbone, who held the role of president for 18 of her 19 years on the board. Beyond her work on the school board, Rolle is a partner at Traub Lieberman, which has seven offices nationwide. She is an accomplished litigator and serves on several committees and boards within the Yorktown community.

Bose, who holds an MBA in finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business, has served as chair of the audit committee. She also serves as the board’s liaison to the District PTSA and, prior to her time on the board, served as co-president of the Brookside PTA, president of the District PTSA and president of the Foundation for Excellence over several years.
